toast on a cats back and drop it?"

Dearest Mother,

How have you been? I have been doing just fine.
I saw on facebook that you did this thing called skiing, you seemed to enjoy it. Did you?
How are great-grandma and grandpa? I seem to remember Sidney rambling on about some hippopotomous living with them- though I would not be surprised if the statement was false. Tell all of them I said hi (including the hippo).

Much Love,
Jasper

Dear Jasper,
I have been fine and I'm glad to hear you are as well. I did go skiing the day I got here, and it was very fun! Grandma and Grandpa are doing great, along with their two dogs, one being very much like a hippo indeed. I told everyone (including the hippo) that you said hi!
I went snowshoeing yesterday, it was fairly enjoyable also! I'm not sure if you know what the sport is, so I'll explain it: Snowshoeing is when you put shoes on to make you're feet imitate a camels. The camel's big feet stay ontop of the sand and when you put on the snowshoes, you stay on top of the snow.

I have missed your company very much, and I can't wait to see you again!

XOXO,
Mother

  1. He's taken to sleeping all day on Luke's "little bed" and at night with me. To say he missed you would be a complete understatement. It's ridiculous.
